Overall I have to say I was so impressed with all four collections and personally think it was the strongest group of final collections throughout all 3 seasons of PR (although Jay still tops them all). I’m really happy that they let all four compete for the prize rather than have a decoy designer and I think it’s pretty obvious that all of them have a fantastic future in design.
Just wanted to throw something up real quickly while I find time to write the official finale recap…
I have to say I was totally rooting for Uli to win. Her collection was breathtakingly beautiful and I couldn’t find a single piece I didn’t like. On the other hand, I can understand why the judges gave the win to Jeffrey, his collection was also really beautiful, but in a tough, edgy way and definitely showed an unique point of view and a lot of creativity.

So this past week has been a whirlwind! I got to advance my new celebrity status (don’t worry mom…I’m just joking, my head is only slightly bigger than it was 6 months ago, I measured it) by attending not one, but TWO red carpets! Well, actually one of them was blue, but you get the concept.
Okay… let’s be honest, I might not be nearly as famous as Ms. Spears or Mrs. Federline or whatever…and I might not have crazy paparazzi chasing me down for pictures of my unborn child…but man! This whole famous thing is a bit out of control! How in the world does Brit Brit do it? I mean seriously, I have like 100 new MySpace friends and Project Runway hasn’t even started. It’s getting ridiculous, you can even see me all over Bravo commercials (as long as you don’t blink…).
